York's artisan bakery and delicatessen. All the bread we bake is made using traditional methods of slow fermentation. We use low yeasted overnight sponges, natural sourdough levain or a combination of the two. This means the bread we produce is full of flavour WITHOUT the use of any artificial flour improvers, preservatives or emulsifiers.

We also sell:
• Focaccia, morning pastries and cakes baked here in our ovens every day
• Local charcuterie, cheeses and fish
• Store cupboard treats and staples
• Seasonal ‘foodie gifts’
• Freshly-made sandwiches, coffee and tea

All our ingredients are locally-sourced where possible and the bread is made with organic flour produced by Yorkshire Organic Millers, Stringers of Driffield and Shipton Mill. The wide range includes unique recipes using items like fermented honey, fig, wild garlic and Yorkshire cheeses.

We supply shops, cafes, restaurants and markets in and around York, who use Haxby Bread as a sign of the quality produce they offer.
